One week glass workshop

Focused on ergonomic and industrial process, the school brief was to conceive a plastic injected cover for hand blender. We disassembled existing models, studied and measured the components. The final shape is determined by ergonomic factors. The upper part of the shape is made to avoid the suction effect and to keep the cable as far as possible. The handle is flat to conserve the continuity of the arm and to fit small hands. The green soft button manages the on and off function and the speed

1 m² / 1 move / 1 wash The brief was to conceive a plasticized welded steel drying rack. Designed with industrial logic, this project is built with 3 identical grids and 4 standardized rings. Analysing the market, I noticed that most of drying racks require 2 to 4 gestures to be entirely unfold. The chosen solution only needs one. Made for small spaces, the product only takes 1 m² and enables to hang 33 meters of clothes which is equivalent to the content of a washing machine.

Thought as a cultural exchange experience, the goal of the workshop was to infuse new vitality and to inspire weavers and designers in finding new research paths. Weavers always weave 2D textile. As a product designer, my personal challenge was to raise 3D thinking among weavers and help them create objects with 2D textile.
