Rethink a

The case of laundry products: change the outside from the inside
There are many problems with actual laundry detergents, while there could have better solutions concerning the materials, the use and the shape of the product. The content is toxic and not ecological, just as the packaging materials. These packagings are also very big either empty or full. It then requires more energy to produce, transport and recycle. There is also a confusion concerning the amount of detergents that has to be used. It creates waste and pollution. Thinking about all these problems, how could we change the amount information, the inside and the outside to create an optimal ecological product?
PROJECT

COMPRESSED SOAP NUTS
An eco-alternative to laundry detergents
Made of essential oils and compressed soap nuts, the product is really easy to use, 1 ball/1 wash. No confusion or waiste anymore. But there are also many more advantages compaired to existing laundry products.

Ecological content
Soap nuts have been used for thousands years.
Water saver
The liquid detergents require more water during the production than powder.
No recycling
The PSM packaging can disolve in boiling water.

Self-structuring shape
No more carton boxes on the palet (normally helping to keep the products all together).
Stocking cost gain
As soap nuts are compressed, it is less bulky at the factory, in transportation and at the supermarket.
Energy saver
Less fossil energy and gas emission to transport the same amount.
